By accessing our website or engaging Jha Interior for interior design services, you agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our
services.
2. Services
Jha Interior provides professional interior design services including, but not limited to, residential
design, commercial interiors, full styling, furniture procurement, and design consultation. The specific
scope of services will be defined in a written agreement or proposal provided before project commencement.
3. Project Engagement & Proposals
- All projects begin with a formal consultation and written proposal outlining scope, deliverables,
timeline, and fees.
- Proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- A signed agreement and advance payment are required before any design work commences.
- Changes to the project scope after agreement must be documented and may result in additional charges.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment schedules will be detailed in the project agreement.
- Typically, payments are structured as: advance (40%), mid-project milestone (30%), and final delivery
(30%).
- All payments are due within the timeframe specified in the invoice.
- Late payments may attract interest at 2% per month on the outstanding amount.
- Jha Interior reserves the right to pause or suspend work if payments are significantly overdue.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure smooth project delivery, clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate project information, measurements, and access to the space as required.
- Timely review and approval of design concepts, materials, and specifications.
- Prompt payment as per the agreed schedule.
- Ensuring the space is ready for design and installation work as per agreed timelines.
- Informing us of any building restrictions, HOA rules, or third-party approvals required.
6. Revisions & Changes
- Each project package includes a specified number of revision rounds as agreed in the proposal.
- Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be charged at our standard hourly or per-revision
rate.
- Significant changes to the original brief after design approval may require a revised agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
- All design concepts, drawings, mood boards, and creative work produced by Jha Interior remain our
intellectual property until full payment is received.
- Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives a licence to use the designs for the specific project.
- Jha Interior retains the right to photograph completed projects and use images for portfolio, marketing,
and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Third-Party Contractors & Suppliers
Jha Interior may recommend or engage third-party contractors, suppliers, or craftspeople for project
execution. While we exercise care in selecting partners, we are not liable for the workmanship, delays, or
conduct of third-party vendors. Separate contracts may be required for construction or installation work.
9. Cancellation Policy
- Client-initiated cancellation before design work begins: Advance payment refundable minus a 15%
administrative fee.
- Cancellation after design work has commenced: No refund on work already completed; client will be billed
for work done to date.
- Jha Interior reserves the right to terminate a project if a client is persistently unresponsive or in
breach of the agreement, with payment due for all work completed.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jha Interior shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental,
consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not
exceed the total fees paid for the specific project in question.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Delhi], India.
12. Amendments
Jha Interior reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on
this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the
revised terms.
